Brian was born on January 6, 1944 in Denver, CO and grew up in Elgin, IL. He was a graduate of Elgin High School and the University of Illinois.
Brian married the love of his life, Genie, on February 4, 1967, and settled in Bellevue, Washington where they spent the rest of their lives together.
Brian had a brilliant, inquisitive mind and spent his working years as an aeronautical engineer for Boeing until his retirement. Loving anything mechanical, Brian built a flying saucer while still in high school and was featured on the front page of the Elgin Courier Newspaper flying it. Another highlight in Brian’s life was flying to Hawaii so that he could greet his father (a retiring flight engineer) and return with him on his dad’s last flight.
Brian’s beloved Genie passed away June 7, 2016 just shy of their 50th wedding anniversary. He missed her every single day. Brian was also preceded in death by his mother Ruth, his father Joseph, and his adoptive mother Murial. He is survived by his brothers Eric (Kathy), Mark (Debbie), David (Marie), and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service and burial will be private.
