I'm so sorry to hear about Jack. I was fortunate to work for Jack at OUM and I am grateful for that experience- it impacted me then and continues to influence my thinking today. I hope family and friends find comfort in the memories and the knowledge that he made a positive impact. Sincere condolences.

I was deeply saddened to hear that one of my mentors had passed on.  As Jack's controller at OUM I learned so much from him, not just about finance but also how to carry and conduct oneself with grace and dignity.  He displayed this everyday through his words and actions.  I am forever grateful for his influence in my life and send my deepest condolences to the Jackson family.

I was very sorry to hear of Jack's passing.  He was a real gentleman and was always great fun to be around, which is the sign of a man who greatly enjoyed life, family and friends.  During the years we shared at OUM I frequently witnessed Jack's high energy and intelligence.  Alice and I send our sincere condolences to Carole and the entire Jackson family.

Such a good friend has been lost!  Jack and I were virtual business partners after his arrival in Seattle to join  Foster and Marshal in the 1970's!  What a personality he shared with us all in those early years! 
Our fun with Carol and Jack continued for over 45 years! Ah, thank God for Memories!

When I think of Jack, I remember his perpetually positive spirit and I will try to make it a part of me no matter what adversity I face... I have an immense amount of admiration for him and appreciate the influence he has had on me over the past 7 years.

On the morning of the celebration of Jack's life - I am reminded by how precious life is, and how short our time together is. Jack had an amazing smile that lit up a room. He has always happy and loved life. He was a true jolly  brother. What a legacy he has left with Carole, and his children and grand children. So very sad to say goodbye - but I have faith that he is at peace and is smiling down with Nana and Grandpa watching over us  all now. RIP dear Uncle Jack. Heidi Avery

Jackie was my best boyfriend in Grade 4. He used to ride me to school on the back of his bike. We had a wonderful neighbourhood gang; we used to meet at the Jacksons for roller-skating, and games of hide-and-seek in the dark. We stayed best friends all through school. My husband, Bruce, was a country neighbor of the Jacsons in Ste. Marguerite, PQ, where Jackie often caddied for his Dad at the Alpine Inn Golf Club. Skiing at Hill 60 was another passion we all shared. Later on, Jackie and Carole came and stayed with us in Ocean Park, Me. in 1965. Jackie was a very special guy and someone whom I loved always. I have many wonderful memories of Jack.....Though as an adult I did not have the chance to enjoy his company nearly enough, over the years I grew to understand how special he was. Blessed with the magnetism of his father and the kind hearted nature of his mother, in addition to his own unique charms, it always felt like a privilege to spend time with him. I'll always be grateful to him for leading the way for (and the impact he had on) his generation of the Montreal Jacksons. Rest in peace uncle Jack.

My heart goes out to Jack's wife, Carole, and his family. Jack's parents were best friends of my parents, Nonie and Art Mann. The Jackson boys were always so good to us when we visited. My sisters and I feel close to the Jacksons and our hearts break to imagine how difficult the loss of Jack will be for all who knew him. You have my deepest sympathy.

Jack was a wonderful, kind soul. He always seemed to have a smile on his face and he had a lovely and gentle way about him. I have fond memories of family reunions and holidays where he was always ever present yet never sought out the spotlight. I hope he will rest in peace.

He was Jackie to me. He probably would have cringed if I called him that recently. I sure he would have preferred Jack. He was my best friend in High School. We formed a quartet and sang the popular songs of the day at school dances and assembly's. The group was called the 4 fifths. Our favourite song was  Silhouette. Our Dads worked together in the same Company, Mussens. He was a class act. Goodbye my good friend. Rest in Peace. You made your life count for a lot of people! I was honoured to be a very small part of it.
