Wong Chew Keung was born in Toishan White Sand village, Guangdong, China on Sept, 18, 1930. He was one of the six siblings. He worked in Guangzhou Metal Production Company when he was young. He met and married Geehan Chan in 1960. Oldest son Sui Guang (Sam) was born in 1962. Second son, Sui Hai (Hoy) was bornin 1970. He migrated to Seattle with the family in 1984, to have a better life, and more freedom for the family. He worked in Ocean City Restaurant, Uwajimaya and Swedish Hospital. After retirement, he served as the chairman of Seattle Wong's association. He organized activities, food gathering, supporting relatives and friends. Chew Keung was baptized in the Chinese Southern Baptist Church in 2020. On July 27, 2026, he passed away peacefully. Chew Keung is survived by sons Sam and Hoy and four grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1575 145th Place SE, Bellevue, Washington, on August 7, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, with a graveside service to follow at Sunset Hills Memorial Park.
