Born November 3, 1957 in Seattle, Debbie passed away peacefully on June 28, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Throughout her cancer journey she inspired us all with her unwavering courage, kindness, equanimity, and zest for life. Debbie was dedicated to her family, career, and many friends. She loved adventure, and had a special connection with each of her many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years Steve Sabel, beloved twin sons Joshua and Justin Sabel, parents Richard and Irene Smith, sister Eileen Franz (Bruce), and brothers Gary Smith (Cindy) and Paul Smith (Karen Cerosaletti), and recently preceded in death by her brother Thomas Smith.
Her celebration of life will be held on July 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Hill Memorial Park
