Donald Nathaniel Morehead (Don) passed away peacefully at his home in Bellevue, Washington on Wednesday, November 20. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on March 2, 1932, Don was a renowned athlete at Pittsfield High School and remained passionately involved in sports throughout his life— as a participant, fan, coach, umpire, and YMCA administrator. Don was also a born storyteller who turned everything that happened to him into a story and loved sharing his stories with others. He is survived by Nell--his loving wife of 61 years--and five children, ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 11/29 at 2:00 pm at The Neighborhood Church: 625 140th Ave NE, Bellevue, Washington.
