

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Dorothy Jean Woerdehoff, who left us peacefully on May 14, 2025, at the age of 88.
Born to Raymond and Anna Hoefer in Albion, Nebraska on January 31, 1937, Jean, as she was known, was the youngest of ten children.
A devoted mother, wife, sister aunt, and friend she was known for her biting humor, wisdom, and unwavering love she had for her large family and many nieces and nephews.
Jean is survived by her daughter Susan R. Vosper and son Robert A, Woerdehoff, and preceded in death by her loving husband, William L. Woerdehoff who she was married to for more than 43 years.
Jean was known for her sociable nature, her involvement in community work, her Catholic faith, and her interest in collecting anything related to pigs. During the last years of her life, you could connect with her regularly on Facebook!
Her legacy is one of boundless love, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to connecting with people and telling it like it is.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 6 at 1pm PST at Sunset Hills Memorial Park Sunset Hills Memorial Park & Funeral Home. All who knew and loved Dorothy are welcome.
A mass will be held at Visitation Catholic Church on Saturday, September 13 at 4pm CST with a celebration of life to follow.
