Born on September 6, 1937, Sonny lived a long life and will be remembered by those who knew and loved him. A true cowboy at heart, Sonny was strong, independent, and resilient. He faced many struggles with his health over the years, with the heart and spirit of a warrior.
Above all, Sonny loved his family and friends. The people in his life meant the world to him, and the love he had for them was at the heart of who he was.
He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Cook, and son-in-law, John Cosser; Pat Cook, the mother of his children; his sisters, Patsy Rosenbach and Sharron Quinn, and Mike Quinn; his granddaughter, Alexa Radach; and his great-grandchildren, Isabella and Finley Radach, and Emmie Emerson.
Sonny was preceded in death by his beloved son, Darrick Cook, and his sister, Ann Baker.
His family will carry his memory with them always, remembering the years they shared, the stories he leaves behind, and the special place he held in their lives.
Ride on, Cowboy. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
