

George Webster Keith Jr. passed away in his home on Friday May 8th at the age of 75. George was born June 20th ,1939 to Effie and George Keith Sr. in Plaquemine, Louisiana. George spent much of his childhood in Morgan City. Known to his family and friends as “Tudy”, he enjoyed traveling the bayous with his “Papa”, and was known to hang out in the swamp as he skipped school. He was a talented baseball and football player, securing him scholarships to both LSU and Tulane. George was an avid fisherman and hunter, and an exceptional marksman, even in to his later years. He loved camping, listening to music, time with family and friends, and his dogs. As a heating and air conditioner technician, George worked for Service Marine, Careco, and McKinstry. At times George owned his own company, worked as a florist/business owner with his wife, and was a Grand Mason.
George was preceded in death by his first wife, Ina Robichaux whom he married in 1961. He later married Brunhild “Bruni” Mueller in 1980. After spending many more years in Morgan City, he and Bruni returned to her home town of Kirkland, Washington. During their retirement they enjoyed being snowbirds, splitting their time between Washington and Arizona. George is survived by his wife, Bruni; His sister, Carolyn (husband Jimmy), his children: Darrin (wife Amy), Michael (wife Jamie), and Zoie; and his grandchildren: Samuel, Spencer, Ian, and Allie.
The family is grateful for all the love and support that they have received during this difficult time. Although physically gone from this world, George will remain in our hearts through our love and memories.
