Guy was born on the 3rd of December 1962 in Saint Louis, Missouri to the union of his parents, Jean and Ted Berthelot. He was the oldest of 4 children in the family.

Guy attended the Bush Private school in Seattle, then he went on to Redmond High.

While in High School, Guy formed a classic 1980s Rock band with his friends, and Guy was the lead guitarist. They were very active and played for many different venues.

Guy attended Washington State University for 3 years, then graduated from Technical College with an Electronics Repair certification, after which he started a professional career as an Electronics Repair Technician at CARVER Electronics.

Guy moved on to building his own SOUND business, that he called Bellevue SOUND systems, which he operated until his mid-40s when he retired.

Guy enjoyed hiking, biking and both snow and water skiing, as well as time spent with family.

His life tragically ended on the 5th of January 2019.

He is survived by his mother Jean and step father Raymond, his Sister Jill and her husband Jack and their son Marshall, his sister Rebecca and her husband Mario and her sons Lorenzo & Ricardo and daughter Isabella, his Brother Michael and his children Natasha & Austin and his aunt Jeannie and Uncle Bob, plus a host of dear friends, and of course his loving cat, Ivy.

A memorial service is being held at 1pm on January 18th, 2019 at Sunset Hills Funeral Home in Bellevue.
