It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harriet Ellen Brooks. Harriet was a resident of Bellevue, Washington. She was born in late 1934 and passed from this life on March 24, 2026, at the age of 91. Harriet lived a long and full life, making a meaningful impact on many people throughout her time. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Harriet loved her family above all else and found great joy in being a devoted wife and caring mother to her three children. She embraced life with a spirit of adventure and had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Harriet enjoyed hiking, skiing, and boating, and she treasured the many opportunities she had to travel the world and experience new places.
There will be a Celebration of Life Open House at the Seattle Tennis Club on Sunday, August 16, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM. This gathering will honor both Harriet and her husband, Burton Brooks, bringing together those who loved them to remember and celebrate their lives.
