Jane grew up in Abington, a suburb of Philadelphia. She received her teaching degree from Shippensburg University and later moved to California for a teaching position. It was there that she met the love of her life, Jeff. They were married in 1965 and shared a devoted marriage until Jeff’s passing. Jane and Jeff moved to Bellevue, Washington in 1977, where they quickly fell in love with the community and the beautiful surroundings.
Washington provided the perfect setting for Jane to enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities. She was an avid hiker, skier and biker, and she took great pride in tending to her beautiful gardens.
Jane built an extensive network of friends from her activities and her involvement with St. Thomas Church. Jane’s cheerful demeanor and generous spirit will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
She is survived by her son Mark and daughter-in-law Julie, son Jon and daughter-in-law Cherie, her three grandchildren: Brooke, Noah and Nicholas and her brother Mike.
