I too, worked with John for several years and echo the comments of the others who've posted. John was a person that I always wanted to see. He was smart, funny, kind, caring, and sensitive to others. He never shied away from the hard stuff either. I remember his big wonderful smile so well. Words can't express how sad I am to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences and prayers to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with John for several years.  John was smart, kind, caring and funny.  I remember our all you can eat Sushi lunches at Benihana.  A young life taken too soon. With heartfelt sympathy and caring prayers for your family.

So saddened and shocked by the loss of such a great person.  Loved working with him and was such a positive, great guy.  We have lots of great memories of him through the years.  My thoughts go out to his family!

I knew John from our years working together at KPMG.  He was a good friend, extremely smart, positive, and just a good all-around person.  We'll miss John and are heartbroken for his wife, Cynthia, and their young son.   Prayers to John's family during this difficult time.

Midori, Kevin and Emili Scherrer are immeasurably saddened by the loss of such a good friend and collegue.  John was one of those guys you were always hoping would be at a company function so we could catch up.  Always so positive, friendly and considerate.  The times we got together with him and Cynthia for dinner at thier house or ours were too few and far between but it was always a pleasure.  He will be greatly missed and our hearts are broken for his lovely wife and child.  We'll miss you John!.
