Joseph Joe "Airboss" T. Greenwood

Joseph Theodore Greenwood (affectionately known as Joe), 68, passed away on October 24th, 2014, in Issaquah, Washington. A memorial service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park at 1215 145th Place Southeast, Bellevue, WA, 98007 at 2:00 PM on November 14, 2014.

Joe Greenwood was born on July 13, 1946, in Mobile, Alabama and raised in southern California. Joe was active in the United States Marines from May 5, 1964 until September 18, 1968. He served four years with two tours in Vietnam and received many awards, including: Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Metal Rifle marksman Badge, and the Vietnam Service Medal.

Joe was retired from his career as a plumber, and had spent his retirement traveling and spending time with his family. Those who were close to Joe, knew his passion for flying, hiking, motorcycle riding, and his family. He is desperately missed by his family and close friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his first wife, Dixie, and their unborn child; as well as his parents, James and Essie Greenwood. He is survived by his ex-wife, Linda Louise Greenwood; and his children, Shannon Louise Lanier, Daniel Paul Kezar, James Lee Greenwood, and Cristi Ann Greenwood; his daughter in law Brittany Elizabeth Kezar; and seven grandchildren, Madeleine Haley Ossanna, Emerson Andrew Paul Kezar, Elliott Solomon Kezar, Gavin Rylan Lanier, Averial James Greenwood, Kaylee Jayne Lanier, and Lyla Louise Greenwood.
