Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025 with her family by her bedside. Kam Lau Chan Tsang was born on July 18, 1940, in the serene countryside of Chan Village in Taishan, Canton. Her early years were shaped by the traditions and rhythms of village life, where she developed the quiet strength and enduring values that would guide her throughout life.
In 1961, Kam met her loving husband, Che Pun Tsang and together they built a family rooted in resilience and love. She was an incredible mother to her daughter Lisa and her two sons, Shek and Keith. In 1969, the family made the bold and hopeful journey to the United States, planting roots in Seattle—a city she would proudly call home for over five decades.
She is survived by her three children: Lisa (Peter), Shek (Sylvia), and Keith. Eight grandchildren: Marc (Krystie), Matthew, Brent (Kiana), Lindsey, Amanda, Karly, Kayla (Justin), and Kyle and two great grandchildren, Kai and Avery. Her sister Leila Louie (John) and Harry Chan (Sue). She was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Quan and her sister Nora Wong.
