Kimberly “Kim” Paul Smith of Lake Stevens, WA passed away peacefully on November 11, 2011 at the age of 77. He was born in Monroe, WA, to George and Elma Smith on February 19, 1934. Following high school, Kim spent 4 years in the Air Force as an aircraft jet engine mechanic, serving 2 years in Japan during the Korean War. Following a career at Boeing and the Washington Athletic Club, he spent his retirement years wintering in Palm Springs and traveling the country experiencing all it had to offer, including trips across the country to explore the East Coast from Maine to Florida.
He will truly be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Kim is predeceased by his first wife, Georgia Smith. He is survived by his current wife, Alice, a son and daughter in law, Craig and Susan Smith, 2 grandchildren, Christina and Jason Smith, a step daughter, Diane and her husband Steve Pruett.
