

She was born in Comstock Nebraska January 13, 1924, the third of five children of W. Emery and Laura Owens.
Laura met the love of her life Al Hohmann in 1943 at the Renton Boeing Plant where they both worked. They were married and had five children.
In their retirement years Laura enjoyed camping, fishing, crafting, crocheting, cards games, spending time with her family, and travel. Laura was always ready for an adventure, her travels took her to numerous spots in the continental USA too many to list, Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, China, Caribbean Islands, South America and the Panama Canal.
Most important to her was family and friends everyone was welcomed to her home. You could always count on being well feed as she was an excellent cook. You never felt you were intruding and you never left empty handed or empty hearted. She was a giver of herself. She loved well and was well loved and will be dearly missed
She is survived by her son, Lynn Hohmann of Everett, son and daughter-in-law, Russel and Clara Hohmann of Ogden, Utah. son Craig Hohmann of Idaho. daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Craig Thompson of Snohomish; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; Brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Roberta Owens of Federal Way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 18th, 2017, at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1215 145th Place S.E. Bellevue, WA 98007 (425) 746-1400.
