Linda Hire

Linda married James (Jim) Hire, her High School sweetheart in his sophomore year at Portland State University on July 8, 1972. Both Linda and Jim were assistant managers at the Park Plaza Apartment complex on the Portland State University Campus. In 1973 Linda was hired by the phone company Pacific Northwest Bell. Linda was good on the telephone and won many office awards for her performance. In October of 1974 Jim also was hired by the Pacific Northwest Bell. Linda and Jim transferred to the Seattle area in 1976. Linda loved television and movies and work for one of the first video stores in the Northwest and Alaska - Weston Nishimura's Video Space in Bellevue. After 18 years of marriage Linda and Jim's son was born on July 13, 1990. Jim retired from the phone company in September 2000. Both Linda and Jim pursued a variety of home based businesses. After trying so hard with many businesses Linda found her dream home based business on April 16, 2012, Nerium International with the Millionaire Maker Jeff Olson. Linda earned her Lexus Convertible in just one month in the new business. She then went on to reach the top level within the company in just one year. Jim and Chandler will carry on the business as a tribute to Linda's memory.

Linda touched many people so very deeply. She is loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and June Vasile.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Hire; son, Chandler J. Hire; brother Dennis L. Vasile (wife, Judy); nephew, Anthony Vasile (Jennifer), and their son Ryan.

A memorial service will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday February 21, 2014 at 1 PM. Reception to follow at Tibbetts Creek Manor in Issaquah. Remembrances in lieu of flowers may be made to Catholic Community Service or Kitty Harbor in Seattle Washington.
