

Bud was a World War II veteran, serving in Europe at Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge. Following the war he was the publicity and press secretary for the Hormel Girls Caravan from 1946-1952. He continued with Hormel Foods for 40 years, retiring as a district manager. Bud resided in Lakewood, WA, then Tustin, CA, and finally in Bellevue, WA. Bud was an avid skier, travelled the world, and loved gardening.
Bud is survived by his three children, Jim Waters (Bernie) of Kirkland, WA; Diane Morrison (Richard) of Cheyenne, WY; and Mike Waters of Yakima, WA; sister, MaeEtta Jarvis of Lino Lakes, MN; brother, Darrel Waters of Rochester, MN; three grand-daughters, one great grand-daughter, and eleven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Janeth in 1977, and brother Ralph Waters.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13th, at 10 a.m., at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue, WA. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. with military honors.
