Querido tio , o como yo te decia negro sucio me acordare toda mi vida aquel dia que me invitaste a pescar a mi y al enano ,(Jose A .Portilla ) , a la marqueza en aquel coche como yo le llamaba tanque convertivlbe , y como no pescamos nos fuimos a Balle de Bravo , y se descompuzo, entre risas y tragos , tuvimos que echarle como 20 litros de aceite y llegamos no se como a la cd , muchas pescas ,cacerias y demas te llevare siempre en mi corazon ,mi tio lindo . DIOS te tenga en su vega .

I have so many fond memories of Luis.  One thing that I always remember is FISHING!  We were out in the boat fishing for hours. He was such a good fisherman, I was not. He would always tell me I had to be quieter. Even still, we had great times. Christmases, Thanksgiving, and get togethers. We had wonderfil times. I know that he is with us always. He is missed.

My beloved Tio, we might have been separated by space but not by love.
Each visit with you was a joy. Driving into the Mountains so you could show me where u got a bear.  Every time I watch Aliens I will think of u. Dancing with you on your 80th birthday. 
I am so glad I got to spend time with you in October. 
To my dear Tia and Cousins, I send my deepest condolences.  R.I.P Tio, you will brighten heaven with new paintings. 

I will never forget that night in Mexico City when TIO took me on there hunting trip for rabbits out at NIGHT in the Mexican desert.I believe I was 9 yrs old scared to death. Running out to get the dead rabbits.Great outdoorsman.RIP.Send my love to all.
