

Maisie C. Chong, 82, passed on October 18, 2021 in Issaquah, Washington, surrounded by her family. Maisie is survived by her husband, Raymond; son, Brian (Lenna); daughter, Elaine (Jason); mother, Wai Ying Li; three brothers and three grandchildren.
Maisie was born October 17, 1939 in China. She spent her early years in Hong Kong and came to Seattle to attend college. She graduated from Seattle University. She was married in Seattle and raised her family in the area. Maisie’s zest for life and adventure meant that she had many interests and activities. In retirement, she was always busy. When not taking care of her grandchildren, she volunteered at various organizations or travelled with family or friends. She always was willing to help those in need. She will be remembered for her generous and caring nature.
She fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past year and a half. Her diagnosis and treatments didn’t stop her from traveling. She spent the last year exploring Oregon, Washington and Wyoming with her family. Maisie’s love of the arts, traveling and gardening will continue to live on through her family.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, Bellevue, WA.
