I had the pleasure of spending a lot of fun times with Owen beginning in the early 1990's. We lived for years in the same small apartment building by Juanita Beach in Kirkland.  He would frequently "pop in" much like the "Kramer" character in the Seinfeld TV series!  He would also hope I'd have some extra food or some dessert lying around!!  We hung out and shared bad advice on  how to handle relationships.  
If that wasn't bad enough, we spent way too much time at the gym growing and getting stronger - often with Tim Harvey or a whole host of other fun individuals.  Owen was very strong and big at that time.  We gave him the nick-name "The Mutant" which he liked and the name stuck!     
In time we were lucky enough to meet the women we eventually married and life settled down.  Owen went from this big, fun "kid" to a happily married family man thanks to Heidi.  He was very lucky to have her throughout the years  
The phone conversations with him while he was sick and especially towards the end in the hospital were extremely difficult.  There wasn't much you could do, but he knew his friends were in his corner.  He was  beyond brave to endure the treatments he tried to combat his illness.
I will always remember him as that big, strong, fun kid from days past!
We love you Owen and miss you.

You told me you were ready to go but I wasn't ready to let you go. I thought you could beat this but I was wrong. 
As kids, we grew and played together and occiasionally fought together but most of the time, we laughed together.  We each had our own dreams but, what we shared can't be replaced because we were brothers.  We started out as kids playing in the dirt, riding our motorcycles, and that lead to riding our Harley's side by side, each knowing what the other's next move was going to be.     W e knew each other better than anyone else because we shared the same blood.  It's the love we shared that will not fade. You were my little brother and always will be.  Johnny

We didn't  meet very often in our adult years, but I will always remember you for your spirit and spunk as a kid.  Rest easy cuz! 

Owen you will be missed so very much. Your life was taken way to soon.  I  will remember  the great times we all had as a family.  Mom miss you and dad but we all will be together  someday. Love you brother RIP
