Pam was born to parents Harold & Maureen Nendick on July 24, 1955 in Seattle, WA. She lived most of her life throughout Eastern Washington & The Greater Puget Sound.
She was a dedicated employee at Allegro Pediatrics (formerly Pediatric Associates) of Bellevue where she worked in the business office for 30 years.
Pam was preceded in death by her father; husbands, Matthew “David” Hoggan & John Oberdorf; her sister, Vickie & brother-in-law, Steve; niece, Madeline & nephew, Dustin.
She is survived by her mother; children, Davia, Jaime & Michael; daughter-in-laws, Marilyn, Kathy & Jaime; grandchildren, Madison, Matthew, Taylor & Avery; sisters, Rita (Jeff), Kathy (Earl); brothers, Tom (Steve), Harold “Moose”; best friend, Kitt; and many nieces & nephews.
Pam was so many things… She was a loving daughter, a cheerleader of a mom, the most amazing grandma, a supportive sister, a wonderful aunt & a loyal friend. She was a fun, welcoming, generous, sassy woman who is already missed by so many people.
Pam enjoyed many things in life, including arts & crafts, gardening, the casino, vacations, decorating for the holidays, crime shows & comedies, pop music, tulips & calla lilies, hot french fries & sneaking treats to her grandbabies. But what she enjoyed the most was being with her family & friends. Whether it was celebrating a holiday with extended family, a vacation with her kids & grandkids, or a trip to the casino with her best friend, she was happiest when she was with those she loved.
Pam lived her life, especially the last year, with so much grace. She was never dealt an easy hand but she accepted what she was given, navigated it, and kept on going. She didn’t believe in dwelling on the negative things that couldn’t be changed. She focused her energy on finding better days in the future. She would hope that all of those she left behind would follow her example in life and continuing living & enjoying life as we navigate the pain & void felt in her absence.
Services for Pam will take place on Monday, December 16th at Sunset Hills Funeral Home in Bellevue, beginning at 1:00pm, with a reception to follow. All who knew her are invited to come honor & celebrate her beautiful life. Immediately following the service her family will lay her to rest in a private graveside service.
In lieu of flowers please consider a live plant or tree that can be planted in a memorial garden by her family. Memorial contributions can be made to Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in Pam’s name.
