The diagnosis and Patty's rapid 6-week decline was completely unexpected and left her family in complete shock. Her husband’s pretty baby was gone. As she and her husband had agreed in the past, whichever one died first, their ashes would be held by the other until their death at which time they would both be buried together.
Patty is survived by her husband, Richard Booth, brother, Tommy Miller, nephew David Miller, and nieces Adrianne Morgan, Angie Baroldy, and Shahara Miller.
Patty and her husband had started dating in 1976 when she was 25 and he was 30 and they married 4 years later, on September 6, 1980, in South Lake Tahoe NV followed by a Honeymoon in Maui and Oahu Hawaii. These were some of the best times in their lives. Patty had never been to Hawaii before and afterwards they vacationed there many times. They have lived in Maple Valley WA for the last 34 years and previously in Renton WA for 12 years and Redmond for 2 years.
Patty was born in Forks WA to Wayne and Shirley Miller and had grown up in Duvall WA. She was always an excellent student and in high school was on the honor roll and in the honor society, Pep Club, Girls Club, Junior Class Secretary, and acted in the Senior Play. After graduation, she worked for retail sales companies in the Bellevue-Redmond area such as White Front and Pay 'N' Save, and in the wholesale businesses for Hallmark, Heartline and Panfilo Morelli servicing retail businesses throughout western Washington with great success before she retired to her home in Maple Valley in 1990.
A celebration of Patty's life will be held about a month from now and announced by invitation.
