

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert “Rob” N. Doss IV, beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, who passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2025 at the age of 45 due to complications from an aortic dissection.
Rob was born on July 7, 1980, in Leominster, MA, and grew up in Bridgeport, CT. He met the love of his life, Maribel C. Doss, at Harding High School, and from that moment on, their journey together was filled with laughter, devotion, and unwavering love. Rob was not only a high school sweetheart—he was a lifelong partner, a dedicated father, and a man who lit up every room he entered. His bond with his son, Robert V, was especially strong—filled with shared passions, playful moments, and unconditional love.
Rob had a deep love for sports—especially basketball, football, UFC, and boxing—and his passion was contagious. Whether cheering on his favorite teams or shooting hoops with his son, he brought energy and joy to every moment. Known for his goofy dances, silly jokes, and warm heart, Rob could make anyone laugh, even on the hardest days. His outgoing nature and infectious optimism uplifted everyone around him. Whether coaching, helping a friend, or simply sharing a smile, Rob made people feel seen, loved, and truly valued.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maribel C. Doss; his son, Robert N. Doss V; his father, Robert N. Doss III; his sister and brother-in-law, Daria and Lamar Fedrick; sister and brother-in-law Glenda Garcia and Joey Godley; sister and brother-in-law Yessenia Castillo and Rashad Wells; mother-in-law and father-in-law Carmen Matos and Luis Castillo; nieces Brittani Fedrick and Janyia Wells; nephews Lamar Fedrick and Darrick Tunstall, and many extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Rob was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Aline Doss, whom he cherished deeply and whose memory he carried with him always.
A viewing will be held on Friday, November 7th starting at 10:00 AM at Saint Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 17856 NE Woodinville Duvall Road, Woodinville, WA 98077. A Catholic Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial immediately after at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 1575 145th Place SE, Bellevue, WA 98007. Celebration of Life will take place at Sparkman Cellars from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where we will end the day together celebrating Rob’s legacy and the joy, he brought to all of us. We will gather again in Connecticut on Sunday, November 23rd from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM to continue celebrating Rob's legacy with our east coast family and friends.
Rob lived with joy, loved with grace, and left the world a better place. Though he is no longer with us in body, the light he left behind will continue to shine in the lives he touched.
