Ronald Wang was born on September 18, 1930 in Canton, China to a large family of 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He studied at Shanghai University. After graduating in 1951, he went to join his family and work in his father's import export business in Hong Kong. He met his future wife, Annie, in 1954.
Ronald emigrated to the US in 1957 and obtained a business degree at Seattle University. He worked at a mortgage company and in the restaurant business before eventually starting an insurance agency.
Ronald was known for being a snappy dresser and for his love of his wife and family. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, playing ping-pong with his grandchildren, and exercising at the YMCA.
After living with Parkinson's disease for seven years, Ronald passed away peacefully at age 94 on February 22, 2025. He is preceded in death by his wife Annie, and survived by his daughters, Irene and Connie, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
