Ruth was full of life and energy until the very end. She was known for her deep devotion to Roger, her late husband of 73 years, and to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her keen curiosity and desire to keep her mind sharp kept her engaged in life.
Believing deeply in education, Ruth graduated from the University of Washington with a teaching degree and taught for many years in the Bellevue Public School District. Her kind-hearted and loyal spirit touched the lives of many.
Both Ruth and Roger encouraged their children and grandchildren to pursue their passions, wherever that took them on their life’s journey.
Ruth also loved spending time outside, tending to her yard, flowers, and tomato plants, finding joy and peace in nature's beauty.
Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her legacy of curiosity and loyalty will be remembered by those she leaves behind.
Ruth is survived by five of her six children, ten grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
