Sandra Lee Kuchenreuther

Sandra Lee Kuchenreuther (Scott), 88, passed away peacefully in her hospice home in Vancouver Washington on February 28th. Sandra was born January 7, 1935 in Wenatchee, WA to Allen and Florence Scott. She grew up in Wenatchee and in 1953 married her high school sweetheart, Ron Kuchenreuther. They soon moved to the Seattle area and settled in Bellevue where they lived together for 56 years until Ron’s death in 2010. Sandy worked in a variety of positions over the years but was primarily a homemaker and most of the neighborhood’s adopted mother. Sandy was devoted to her family and to most of the animals who found their way into her yard. Sandra is survived by her son Brad (Beth), and grandchildren Brett, Lindsay (Chris), Mia and Tyler. A graveside service in her honor will be held March 16th, 12:30 pm, at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1215 145th Place SE, Bellevue, WA 98007. Followed by a reception.
