

Sharon Joy Harder Sim-Rozee, born Sharon Joy Harder Sim on October 21st, 1970, in Rahway NJ., daughter of the Dr. Joel Sim, Colonel (U.S. Army, Retired) and Dr. Thelma Sim, Lieutenant Colonel (U.S. Army, Retired), younger sister of the Steve Sim passed from this life into eternal life at 11:50pm Friday December 9, 2022, after over a month-long battle with kidney failure and blood clots brought on by septic shock.
She is survived by her daughter Mia Rozee, husband David Bruce Rozee, brother Steve and Sandra Sim (Brandon, Jolie, Serena), father Dr. Joel Sim and mother Dr. Thelma Sim.
During her teenage years she lived in Frankfurt, Germany where her parents were stationed. She graduated from Frankfurt American High School in 1988, earned a BA in Music from Whitman college in 1992, pursued graduate studies in Music History and pre-med at University of Louisville until 1996 also earning a black belt in Taekwondo. In 2000 she embarked on a what would be a 20-year nursing career earning an ADN in Nursing from Bellevue College in 2004 and spending 15 years as a primary charge nurse working night shift.
She married David B. Rozee (Emily Macdonald, Vern Rozee) in 2002 and was blessed with a daughter Mia in 2014. Sharon was a lifetime lover of dogs owning 8 during her adult life, an avid reader, a martial arts enthusiast, a musician (piano and vocals) and a one-time member of the Seattle Choral company. She is remembered fondly by friends and co-workers for the love, support, and mentorship she provided over the years. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
As a Christian, Sharon wished to have a celebration of the immortality promised to all by Christ.
