Tad passed away peacefully in his home on August 3, 2012. He was born August 12, 1912 in Seattle to Kojyu and Seki (Nishimura) Kuniyuki. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kuniko (Wakabayashi), son, James and brothers, Yukio and Kaname. He is survived by sister, Mariko, daughters: Carol Ann Suehiro (Joshua) and Susan Kuniyuki, the Kuniyuki-Hirahara grandchildren: Todd, Tedd and Kelly and great-grandchildren: Riki, Sho, Aya, Kylee, Kiyomi and Emilee. He graduated from Bailey Gatzert Elementary, Broadway High School and University of Washington. During WWII he was interned at Minidoka Relocation Center. He retired from the City of Seattle. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 11:00 am at Sunset Hills Funeral Home, 1215 145 PL SE, Bellevue.
