Tin was born August 20, 1939 to Kinh Ba Trinh and Thuy Thi Pham in Nam Dinh, Vietnam.
Tin attended Vietnam’s National Military Academy, and served as an Officer in the South Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam War. When he arrived in the United States, Tin worked for Elenbaas Dairy Supply before opening his own business, Whatcom Refrigeration. Tin loved to spend time with his family and friends, and set an example for all to follow regarding the importance of family. He also enjoyed music, computers, technology, and was an excellent cook.
