In her senior year at high school, Bea met and fell in love with her best girlfriend’s uncle, John R. Wright. 

She and John were wed at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church on October 9, 1948.


Bea and John purchased a new home in Bellflower, CA.  They soon adopted two beautiful children, Pamela and John Jr.
