Resting in the arms of her father in Heaven.

What a wonderful person Dorothy has been to my family.. And thanks to them, I met a lively, lovely, spritely lady. Who loved God, her family, and the friends she made.

Thankful to have seen her and spent some time last summer.

May the peace of Christ envelope her loved ones at this time.

I loved Dorothy so much. She was my mentor when my husband died and I went back to nursing school. We attended church together and worked together at Bellwood General Hospital. I know she is in the arms of our Lord but I will miss her so much.

So grateful to Dorothy (Phil, and the entire Grandin Family) for the acceptance, love, caring, and Truths of God's Word that were invested into my life for almost five decades!! My life and my family's is better because of what God did through her!!
I will also remember her fondly for her "Have a Nice Day" inserts which she so faithfully sent with each birthday card 😍❣️ She also introduced me to broccoli ("the little trees"), zucchini squash, summer squash, crook-neck squash, cornish game hens, and sourdough dinner rolls.....and I still love them all to this day! She made the BEST homemade tacos! She also intoduced me to her Cranberry Jello Salad which has become a favorite holiday tradition in my own family! I also fondly remember that she would regularly drink her coffee out of a pretty Japanese tea cup which she kept next to the stove. These are just some of the many lovely memories that I have. Thank you, Dorothy for giving to the Lord through your investment into my life, and the lives of countless others!!
