Mrs. Moran possessed a rare and magnetic quality to make you feel warm and welcome. She maintained a gentle stoicism that was accompanied by a kind and easy smile, laughter you would never want to stop, and just a few knowing eyerolls. There is no doubt that Mrs. Moran's spirit lives on in her brilliant, beautiful, and benevolent daughters.

While I had the honor and privilege to meet Mrs. Moran because of her beautiful daughter, and my dear friend, Stephanie, it was through spending time with Mrs. Moran that I grew to love her and her incredible and close-knit family.

The recent memories I cherish with Mrs. Moran are from July 2023, when Stephanie and Mrs. Moran made a short trip to San Francisco to cheer me on during the San Francisco Marathon and to spend time with my family. Mrs. Moran had been running her own grueling marathon so I remain grateful that she made a detour to support me on mine.

I want to believe that she continues to cheer us on, and occasionally roll her eyes and gently laugh at the ways in which we bumble and stumble about, even though she is not physically with us.

This will always be the way I remember you. Healthy and with a beautiful smile. Rest in peace Tia. You have left a crack in heart no one will ever heal. 🩵🩵🩵🩵

Tia you were always there for me. I will always miss hearing your laugh and you yelling for your sports teams.

This photo was taken at Mireya's 5th Birthday Party of Lupe and Me. I'm so glad that Lupe could see the second Granddaughter Nia. I'm more than sure she would also be Nia's favorite.
