Lucy was born in Hanover New Mexico. She passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021. She was born March 24, 1934 to Gregorio and Frances Gonzales. Lucy will be laid to rest on her 87th birthday, March 24, 2021. Lucy spent her childhood in New Mexico and later moved to Los Angeles Ca, where she met Fernando "Fernie" Toscano. They were married for 50 years when Fernie passed in 2006. Lucy loved the Lord, her family, and friends. Lucy worked for Vans tennis shoes in the 70's, where she managed a store. In the early 80's she continued her retail career working for Mervyn's in Cypress where she retired. Lucy liked to travel. She took trips to Arizona, New Mexico, Catalina, Georgia, North Carolina, Alaska, Boston, Canada, Main, Las Vegas, and Laughlin Nevada. But, her favorite place to visit was New York once a year with her sister Molly. Lucy also enjoyed going to music concerts, as she loved music. Lucy is survived by her son Fernando Toscano jr., her daughters Anna and Patricia Toscano. Lucy had 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter (Amy in heaven), and 11 great grandchildren.
