Losing you has been the hardest thing I've ever had to face. Knowing you're no longer here for me to call, spend time with, and dance with breaks my heart every day.

You weren't just my sister—you were like a mother to me. You were always there for me, giving me advice, supporting me, and loving my babies so much. I miss hearing your voice, feeling your hugs, and getting your kisses.

I pray that you visit me in my dreams so I can know you're okay. I will forever be your baby, Nina, and you will always be my Queen Nina. Until we meet again, please watch over all of us.

I'm sending you the biggest hug and kiss and imagining you dancing in heaven with that beautiful smile.

Thank you for the beautiful memories my forever best friend. At 4 years old that summer I met you Veronica and  Vicky. It was the best summer I will remember. My first friends on the block. I didn’t speak a word of English and you taught me Veronica. You asked if I wanted to play? I replied and said Que? You said Oh no ablas espańol? I said no? You said  Es Okay lol, yo te enseńo. We were inseparable ever since. We started kindergarten together and you were always there to help me. By the time we started 1st grade I spoke english thanks to you. Unconditional love as sisters is what we had ALWAYS! I miss you Dearly. I love you sweet Angel!

Sister, no matter where life takes us, I will always find my way back to you. Out of all the souls in this world, yours feels like home to mine. I am grateful that I got to have you in this lifetime, and if there are a thousand more after this one, I would search every corner of every universe until I found you again.
I would choose you as my sister over and over, without hesitation. Through every laugh, every tear, every triumph, and every hardship, you have been one of the greatest gifts of my life. I cannot imagine a world where our paths do not cross.
So if eternity exists, then I hope we spend it the same way we've spent this life—side by side, growing older together, sharing memories, carrying each other through the hard days, and celebrating the beautiful ones. Lifetime after lifetime, age after age, I will always find you, and I will always be thankful that I did. ❤️

My deepest condolences. Veronica was a cherished member of our Nutrition Services family, but more my cube mate and friend. She touched so many lives with her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit.

Veronica’s compassion, dedication, and beautiful heart will always be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing and working with her. She brought light to those around her and made a lasting impact.
