Alice was born October 1, 1917 in Knox, IN to the late Benjamin and Jennie (Owens) Montgomery.
Alice enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and reading her Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Howard Montgomery, and one sister, Elma Camper.
Survivors include one sister, Edna Shimkus of Harleysville, PA; four nieces, Marge Young and her husband Roy of Redondo Beach, CA, Nancy Gibbs and her husband Dale of Noel, MO, Esther Shimkus and her husband Gary Wolfe of Ft. Collins, CO, and Sally Stitzinger and her husband Bob of Harleysville, PA; one nephew, Ed Shimkus and his wife Carol of Midlothian, VA; two great nieces, three great nephews, 2 great great nieces, and four great great nephews.
Services for Alice will be 10am Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Liberty Baptist Church in Bentonville with burial to follow at Bentonville City Cemetery.
