

Arlyce Ann Suedel, 75, of Bentonville, AR, went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2026 surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. She was born July 6, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Rev. Phillip E. Sandbek and Willavene (Shank) Sandbek.
She graduated from Oak Grove High School in Moorehead, MN. After High School she worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for nearly 20 years. She then pursued a nursing degree and graduated from the University of Arkansas and pursued her passion of nursing. She worked at Bates Hospital and became a Registered Nurse.
After several years she became a traveling nurse serving all around the country. Her favorite place was working in Alaska. She was adventurous and loved to travel.
She moved back to Northwest Arkansas to be with family and worked at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville until retirement in 2019. While at Northwest Medical Center, she received the "Nurse of the Year" award.
After retirement, she spent a lot of time in Florida with her sister and traveling. She was a member of Cape Coral First Methodist Church in Cape Coral, FL.
Arlyce was gifted at crocheting and made many gifts for family and friends. She enjoyed collecting antiques. She played the piano and sang in the choir at church earlier in her life. She was witty and friendly. She especially loved spending time with her grandkids playing board games and taking them on trips.
Arlyce is survived by her sons, Ryan Suedel and wife Kelly of Bentonville, and Jon Suedel of Detroit Lakes, MN; grandchildren, Katie and Hsar Mi, Matthew and Brileigh Suedel, Timothy and Aranza Suedel, Joshua and Amelia Suedel, Abby Suedel, Allison Suedel, Hunter Suedel, Blaine Suedel and Payton Suedel; great grandchildren, Lael Suedel, Caleb Suedel, Kash Suedel, and Lyle Suedel; and sister, Rebecca Sandbek of Cape Coral, FL.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29th from 12:00-2:00 PM at Callison-Lough Funeral Home, 605 W Central Ave, Bentonville, AR. Funeral service immediately to follow at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Alan E. Johnson. A graveside service will be held at Bella Vista Memorial Gardens following the service.
Memorials may be made in Arlyce’s name to Cape Coral First Methodist Church.
