Catherine “Cathy” Therese Belt, 64, passed away on September 21, 2022. She was born on October 24, 1957 to the late James and Patricia (Maloney) Murray. Cathy was married to the love of her life, John “Rick” Belt.
Cathy was an avid reader and loved puzzles and games, especially card games. Her favorite activity was spending time with family, especially her 2 grandchildren. She was active in St. James Catholic Church as school secretary, taught religious education, and sang in the choir. She worked for Right Management for 20 years, her last role being an Operations Project Coordinator.
Cathy is survived by her husband, Rick Belt of Bentonville; son, Sean Belt (Sonia) of San Tan Valley, Arizona; daughter, Teri Borus (Jeff) of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; brothers, Tim Murray (Toni) and Dan Murray (Julie) both of Illinois; sister, Anne Murray (Lenore Duffy) of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Liam Borus and Jayden Belt; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 9:30am at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Bentonville, AR.
