I have so many fond memories of Mr. Herndon! I can't pick just one. We always kept our fingers crossed that he or Virginia would be our trip drivers. They were the most fun! You will be so missed here on earth but what awaits you will be amazing. I pray that the family know that they have many arms around them and will see you again.

So many wonderful memories from when he and Virgina drove our choir buses in school. Such a cheerful and enjoyable man to have as a friend. We will miss you greatly.

Virginia and family.............our hearts go out to you and yours over the loss of your loved one. We have known you and Clyde since the 80's. Our memories of being in church with you haven't faded. Oh, how we loved going to church with you!
Clyde was so good to dad, when on a whim dad would decide he wanted to go on a trip, Clyde was his driving companion and chief bottle washer on his outings. I'm so glad that I was able to tell Clyde not to long ago,how much I appreciated all he done for dad.
Now, I realize, that there is more to go to heaven for. The Lord that Clyde served all these years has now become a reality to him. He is there, he has made it! I pray that the Lord will give you peace in the midst of your sorrow. Nothing passes GOD'S eyes unnoticed. He knows your pain. We can't begin to tell you how sorry we are. May GOD hold your hearts in his hand. Lean on him.....we love you......Andy & Diane Bennett

Such a cheerful and nice gentleman, he always had a smile on his face and was so happy . He was my bus driver growing up and I will never forget him making a special trip down the road to pick me up for school when I was in kindergarten, my mother would always make homemade cinnamon rolls for him for making that extra stop. He was a great man.
