Corrine was born November 19, 1928 in Lewis, IA, the daughter of John Henry and Mary Ester (Ryan) Sanny. She grew up in Lewis, IA and received her education from Lewis High School.
She was united in marriage to Lyle Anderson on December 5, 1948 in Atlantic, IA. The couple resided in Atlantic where she worked for Safeway for forty years. She then transferred with Safeway to Arvada, CO. She resided in Arvada for twenty years before retiring to Bella Vista, AR. She continued to work part-time while in retirement for the Bentonville School District. She worked in the cafeteria at Old High Middle School and Ruth Hale Baker Middle School in Bentonville, AR. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Atlantic, IA.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts, traveling, going to her children’s and grandchildren’s events and spending time with her family. She also loved spending time with her two dogs, Buddy and Babe.
Corrine is survived by her husband, Lyle Anderson of Bella Vista, AR, her two children, Doug Anderson and his wife, Lori, of Alton, IL, Darla Haston and her husband, Mark, of Lenexa, KS, five grandchildren, Matt and Emily Anderson of Godfrey, IL, Zachary and Amanda Anderson of Rogers, AR, Sarah Anderson or Alton, IL, Jessica and Nick Winston of Prairie Village, KS, Emily and Russ Crafton of Overland Park, KS, six great grandchildren and one step-great grandchild, Gage and Logan Anderson, Elizabeth Anderson, Keagan Anderson, Avner and Olympia Crafton, and Ryder Crafton, one foster child, Debi Pehling, and many friends far and wide that were blessed by her joy. We will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Sanny; siblings, Henry, Lee, Earl, Merle, Donald, Lois, Dora, Agnes and Lila June and grandson, Brooks Haston.
Funeral Services: Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Rollins Funeral Home at 1401 W. Hudson Road, Rogers, AR 72756.
