Donnette sat next to me in science class when we were in 9th grade.  She was a delightful and very friendly young lady. She and her brother Russ were good friends of mine. I’m sorry she is gone.

Donnette and I sat next to each other in science class while in the 9th grade at Mahtomedi MN High School.   She was always a very lovely girl and the kids really liked her.  And then she and her brother moved away and we didn't know where she went.  Twenty years later, in 1975 (she would have graduated in 1965) I ran into her brother Russ in Wadena, MN.  His son came to the school in Verndale where I was in my first years as a school principal.  Russ called me when Donnette died and shortly after that, he died.  They were good people!

I think of Donnette often, she and Bob we're a beautiful couple. I have an anniversary picture of them while he was at the Manor, would like the family to have.

As we age, memories become more important to us.  I remember attending your wedding and seeing both of your eyes sparkling.  Your smiles were radiant then and as I review pictures, those smiles never dimmed for one another.  Donnette would call Dad often after mother passed and they shared their strong faith and confidence in knowing Mom is in heaven with so many other loved ones. We take great comfort in believing that Mom was there to welcome Donnette as she entered heaven with so many other friends and relatives there also to wrap their arms around her and welcome her to eternal life.  God bless and may you have many beautiful memories to help you through this difficult time.

Uncle Bob and cousins, please except my deep condolences and my heartfelt sympathy at this time of you loss, I know that she is with the lord now and that her love and spirit lives on in all of you and all that loved her, I know that I will miss her deeply a true women of god.
