Gary Wayne Stennett died on August 29, 2020 in a tragic motorcycle accident and was taken from us too soon. He was born on October 30, 1974 in Rogers to Arthur and Connie Lynn Stennett. Gary lived in Monte Ne in his youth and always stayed close to Northwest Arkansas, living no farther than Eastern Oklahoma. He found his calling in truck driving and loved the job. He was last driving for Central States Manufacturing in Lowell and Paramont Metals in Tontitown. He loved his family and friends, and the times he had at family reunions in Texas. He only wished he could have done more of that. He is survived by his father; his stepmother, Patricia Broughton; uncles, Mark and Mike; aunts Alicia and Kris; 5 cousins; and a close circle of friends including Calvin, Torin, Rosemary, Jesse, and Trinity, who have helped make this time of grief more bearable for his family. He was preceded in death by his mother. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville.

Arthur and Pat,

We are so sorry for your loss. Gary was a special person and a gentle soul and we will miss him terribly. We pray that you will find solace in the outpouring of love and compassion that will come from friends and family during the coming days as we say goodbye to your loving son. Know that over time the ache you feel may never go away but will be balanced by the treasured memories of the time we had with Gary.

Psalms 147:3. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Love Mark, Alicia and Laurel

Gary is a dear friend to everyone he meets. We worked together for many years and he will be missed more than words can describe. He would always put a smile on my face with all his jokes, and he knew how to lighten up stressful moments.
Miss you dearly Friend

Thirty years ago Gary, Torin and I hung out a lot exploring the old hotel and fishing Monte Ne Cove. He was a good fellow. We lost touch after JR High, but have many good memories.

When I lost my daughter in a car accident 24 years ago Gary became one of my big brothers. I could sit and talk or cry for hours with him. I will never forget how kind and awesome he was. He will never be forgotten.
