Helen Irene "Nanny" Larkin

Helen Irene “Nanny” Larkin, age 83, died April 26, 2010 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born in Amarillo, Texas to Otis and Annie Parker. She was a member of the Bentonville Church of Christ. She loved taking care of children, traveling, gardening, and reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Paul Larkin, three brothers; Otis Parker, Raymond Parker, and T.L. Parker, one sister; Mary Laughlin, and a step-daughter; Linda Hunt.

She is survived by five children; Judy Bunch and her husband Johnny of Bentonville, AR, Phyllis Landwehr and her husband Bill of Decatur, AR, Patricia Markert and her husband Dave of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Holzkamper and his wife Betty of Clarksville, TN, Paulette Oehlert and her husband Jerry of Bentonville, AR, four step-children; Paula Bailey of Bentonville, AR, Karen Augustine of Rogersville, MO, Randy Larkin of Farmington, AR, Diane Pierce of Rogersville, MO, two sisters; Wanda Turner of Tallahassee, FL, and Jessie Anderson of Longview, TX. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Bentonville Church of Christ at 2:00 p.m., Walton Hook and William Spurlock will officiate the service.
