

Jacqueline (Jackie) J. Erickson Krie, age 83, passed away on August 21st, surrounded by family, after a courageous and long fight with Interstitial Lung Disease. Jackie was born September 22, 1941 in Red Wing, Minnesota to Joyce M.(Welt) Erickson and Raymond J. Erickson. One of seven children including Laurel Tomlinson, Barbara Erickson, Bonnie Fulton (Bob), Gregory Erickson (JoCarrla), and twins Henry and Raymond. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Joyce and Raymond, sisters Barbara and Bonnie, and infant twin brothers, Henry George and Raymond John.
Jackie raised three children as a divorced single mom, Jodella (Jodi) Cole (James) of Bentonville, Jeffery Krie (Lori) of Fayetteville, and Johnna Warden (Hank) of Kaufman, Texas. She was the proudest of being a grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Tyler Cole, Dalton Cole, Benjamin Warden (Kelsie), Jacqueline Warden, Phoebe Krie, Sophia Krie and Penelope Krie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and cousins. In addition, she was the honorary “Grandma Jackie” to many other children over the years.
Jackie began working at Northwestern Bell after graduating from Red Wing High School in 1959. She had a 30-year career with Bell and AT&T in various roles. She moved to Bentonville, Arkansas in 1971 with her three young children, her mom and her sister, Barbara, to work for Southwestern Bell.
Jackie’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. On weekends she could be found watching and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Kansas City Chiefs. She always looked forward to girls’ trips with her daughters and holidays with extended family. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
Visitation will be Friday August 29th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., with a Celebration of Life Service to immediately follow at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Arkansas.
