Jane E. Kelley

January 24, 1957January 19, 2019

Jane Elizabeth Kelley, 61, passed away on January 19, 2019. She was born on January 24, 1957 to Jack Kelley and Laurel (Peterson) Kelley Parks. Although Jane was born with special needs, she was often helped during her life by countless loving and generous people. Likewise, it was so much in Jane’s nature to love and give of herself, that for well over 10 years, she volunteered regularly at Helping Hands in Bentonville. Jane enjoyed spending time with both her immediate and extended family and loved them all dearly. She liked to collect things like angels and Beanie Babies. But her most valuable collections were her friends. Over the years while living in both Fayetteville and Bentonville, she developed many unique and lasting relationships. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Jane was preceded in death by her birth father, Jack Kelley and lifelong father, Ryan Parks. She is survived by her mother, Laurel Parks of Bentonville; brothers, Jack Kelley and wife Beverly of Bentonville and Mike Parks and wife, Deedee, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sister, Joan Briggs and husband, Robert of Centerton, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on February 9, 2019 at 2pm at First United Methodist Church in Bentonville. Following the service, there will be a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. In lieu of flowers, financial donation in memory of Jane can be made to Helping Hands,

I’m so sorry to hear about Jane. She was always such a joy in high school. She always had something sweet to say. Bless your family at this time of sorrow.

My heart hurts for Jane's family, as I know what a parent of a special needs child endures. These children are truly "special" in every way! They are challenging, and teach US about patience and simplicity; but they love unconditionally, give endlessly, and whole-heartedly! I know Jane loved her family dearly and was very proud of them. She talked about her nieces and nephews often. I will miss her wonderful innocent giggles. I worked for her dentist for many years and unfortunately was unaware that she was ill. We had many conversations about life and I will miss them. I know she has a purpose in God's kingdom; He needed her more than we did. I only wish that I had been able to say goodbye. I loved her just the way God made her,....Perfectly Jane!

Jane was a dear sweet lady, whom I had the pleasure of meeting about 3 years ago. I will miss hearing her sweet little giggle and sharing popcorn with her. Jane loved the local Bulldog football games and cheering on the team. May she forever be found wrapped in the loving heavenly arms of our loving Father and her family gain the comfort they deserve knowing Jane is no longer in pain.

Jesus was the anchor in Jane's life, and from that friendship flowed love and concern for others. We celebrate her life on earth and we will miss her smile and playful laugh. We looked forward to seeing Jane some day in the kingdom of heaven.

Jane was a sweet angel. Her birthday calls will be greatly missed. You could depend on those calls and catch up with family. She will be missed.
