We were neighbors for two short years. Our kids loved going over to see “the bear” and receiving delicious treats from sweet Pat! My favorite memories are the stories Jerry told us. He was always smiling and telling us of his sweet family. We didn’t know Jerry for long but he and Pat sure did make a lasting impression. One that gives back to the word and one that I try to emulate for our kids. We love you. Rest easy in God’s loving arms.

To Patty and family: So sorry to hear of your loss. Jerry was my mentor when we worked in the Narcotics Unit back in the day. Always love his humor, fair mindedness and professionalism. Always tried to live up to his standards. Please accept my condolences. Rest in Peace Jerry...

Jerry was a good man. I come from a police family. When I came on as a community service officer in 1972 to one day become a police officer Jerry got to know me and always treated me like family. Made me feel like one of the boys in blue. Got appointed as a police officer in 1977. Jerry still treated me like one of the boys. It’s guys like these I always looked up to and wanted to be. Jerry always kept his cool when I knew him. We are a police family and I mourn for your loss. Buried my wife 2 weeks ago who worked at the burglary unit a couple of yrs and she also loved Jerry very much. Now that Jerry is in heaven he don’t want to come back. No more dr appts. No more pain. No more fear. I can see him smiling like I always remembered. Thank you for being my friend.

We purchased a vacation home next door to Pat and Jerry. They were the very first ones to welcome us to the neighborhood. Pat was so gracious to bring goodies over while Jerry invited me to play golf. In our absence he was good enough to mow our grass without even asking. Jerry always has a welcoming smile and inviting personality. Jerry we will deeply miss seeing you. Love you and Pat.
