Two months ago, I had the privilege of meeting Larry for the first time when he had his initial medical issue. I was there to support his son, Larry, my friend and co-worker but in the coming days, I was drawn to his dad more and more. Larry had a very optimistic yet simple way of looking at life and his glass was always full. In the countless hours we spent together those last two months, I enjoyed listening to him express his love for Larry, Jared and Illy. During my visits, Larry and I had great discussions about fatherhood and life in general. I found him to be one of the most gentle and sweetest men I've ever met yet he was also one of the toughest, unafraid of anything. I have no doubt that our friendship would have continued to grow. I'm blessed to have known you for the past two months. I'm going to miss you my friend !!
