Her story started with meeting Jerry Savage at the skating rink in Long Beach, California where he was stationed for the Navy. He asked her to marry him, but she made him wait a year until he was out of the service.
Over the years, Letha was an office worker, industrial worker for Ford Motor Co., employed at ADA Glass Plant, and Walmart associate. She was a natural chef and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was also an avid gardener and every plant thrived in her care.
She was very family-oriented, and was proud of her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandbaby.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry T. Savage; son, Thomas Lee Savage; daughter, Lorrie Sue Savage; grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Danielle, and Rachel; and great-grandchild, Lyric.
