Margaret Marie “Midge” Howard, 96, of Alma and longtime resident of Rogers died Thursday, September 20 at Heart of Hospice Care in Fort Smith. She was born May 13, 1922 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Theodore Baker and Delia Balthazor Baker Miller, the youngest of two and and graduated from Murray High in Murray, Nebraska. Later in life, she was a realtor in Wichita, Kansas. Midge enjoyed oil and china painting, jewelry art and was a member of the Senior, Evening and Afternoon Bridge clubs in Rogers. She was the loving wife of Bert Howard who preceded her, as did a son and her brother. Survivors include her sons, Ted and Ron Howard, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren, her extended family and dear friends. Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00am Friday, September 28 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville with interment to follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery.
