Mary Christine Herron

Most knew her as “Chris.” To those closest to her, she was “Chrissy” and “Nanny.”

She worked as a waitress most of her life. She worked at Bowen’s Restaurant and Granny’s Pancake House. She was loved and fondly thought of by everyone that knew her.

Christine was preceded in death by her eldest son, two granddaughters, four sisters, five brothers, her parents, and her loving husband. She came from a large family of 10 children. As the family matriarch, she was much loved and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving daughter Glenda Lillard, one granddaughter, and her son David Stewart. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

We would like to extend our profound gratitude and love to Circle of Life, in helping us keep our precious mom and Nanny home with us. You mean so much to us.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal services.
